Bethsaida
A fishing town on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, named as the home town of Philip, Andrew and Peter. Jesus healed a blind man here, and the feeding of the five thousand took place nearby; the town is also among those he reproached for refusing to repent (John 1:44; Mark 8:22-26; Matthew 11:21).
