Lot
Abraham's nephew, who travelled with him from Ur and Haran. When their herdsmen quarrelled, Abraham let him choose first and he took the well-watered Jordan plain, pitching his tent towards Sodom. Captured when four kings raided the cities, he was rescued by Abraham. Warned by two angels of Sodom's destruction he escaped with his two daughters, his wife looking back and becoming a pillar of salt; the sordid episode in the cave afterwards produced the ancestors of Moab and Ammon. The New Testament nevertheless calls him righteous, tormented by the lawlessness around him.

Genesis 11:27
Terah took Abram his son, Lot the son of Haran, his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife. They went from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan. They came to Haran and lived there.
Genesis 11:31
So Abram went, as Yahweh had told him. Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

Abram took Sarai his wife, Lot his brother’s son, all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they went to go into the land of Canaan. They entered into the land of Canaan.
