Dathan
A Reubenite who, with his brother Abiram and with Korah the Levite, rebelled against the leadership of Moses and Aaron. Summoned by Moses, the brothers refused to come, complaining that he had brought them out of a land flowing with milk and honey — Egypt — to die in the wilderness. Moses said that if these men died a natural death the Lord had not sent him; the ground opened and swallowed them, their households and all their goods.

Numbers 16:1 — Rises against Moses
Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, “We won’t come up!

Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
