Aquila

A Jewish tentmaker from Pontus, expelled from Rome with his wife Priscilla when Claudius banished the Jews from the city. Paul met them at Corinth, stayed and worked in the same trade with them, and later took them to Ephesus. Together they instructed Apollos more fully, hosted a church in their house, and were greeted by Paul as fellow workers who had risked their lives for him.

Acts 18:2 — Meets Paul at Corinth

Paul, having stayed after this many more days, took his leave of the brothers, and sailed from there for Syria, together with Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head in Cenchreae, for he had a vow.
