Medad
One of two men — with Eldad — who remained in the camp when the seventy elders gathered at the tent, and yet had the Spirit rest on them so that they prophesied where they were. A young man ran to tell Moses, and Joshua urged him to stop them. Moses answered with the words that anticipate Pentecost: 'Would that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!'
