Haggith
One of David's wives at Hebron and the mother of Adonijah, his fourth son. Her son's attempt to take the throne in David's old age — riding out with chariots and fifty runners, and holding a feast at En-rogel — is the crisis that prompts Bathsheba and Nathan to secure the succession for Solomon.
