Geshem

An Arab, one of the three chief opponents of Nehemiah's rebuilding of Jerusalem alongside Sanballat and Tobiah. He joined the mockery at the start, took part in the repeated invitations to meet in the plain of Ono, and is named in the open letter alleging that Nehemiah intended to make himself king.
