Ramah
A town of Benjamin north of Jerusalem. Samuel was born to Hannah at Ramah and made it his home and place of judgement; Jeremiah pictures Rachel weeping at Ramah for her exiled children, a line Matthew applies to the massacre at Bethlehem (1 Samuel 1:19; 7:17; Jeremiah 31:15).
Where in scripture
