Titus
A Greek convert and one of Paul's most trusted companions, taken to the council at Jerusalem as a test case and deliberately not circumcised. Paul sent him to Corinth during the painful breach with that church and waited anxiously in Macedonia for his return, finding comfort in the news he brought; he also organised the collection for the poor in Jerusalem. Later he was left in Crete to appoint elders and set in order what remained, and the letter written to him there bears his name.
